Live Site

Kent Heating & Plumbing is a Rochester-based family business with more than 60 years of trade experience, covering domestic, commercial, housing-association and new-build work across Kent, London and the South East. The brief was a site that did the work of three brochures at once - credentials front-and-centre, separate paths for homeowners and commercial buyers, and an emergency call-out route that didn't get lost in the navigation.

The site we shipped reads as established rather than corporate. Gas Safe and DBS credentials sit alongside the headline. Google reviews surface as proof, not decoration. Each audience (homeowner, commercial, housing-association, developer) has its own service entry without fragmenting the brand.

A 4-discipline engagement covering everything from brand storefront design through to ongoing acquisition and search visibility.

  • 04Brand Direction
  • B·01Make the 60+ years and Gas Safe registration visible on first scroll - they are the strongest trust signal a heating firm has.
  • B·02Split the audiences cleanly: domestic homeowners shop differently from facilities managers and housing-association buyers.
  • B·03Surface emergency call-out as a permanent CTA, not a sub-page link, because that's where high-intent traffic lands.
  • B·04Pull verified Google reviews into the page so social proof stays fresh without manual updates.
  • B·05Build on WordPress so the office team can update services, locations, and reviews without developer help.
  • C·01Service architecture splits by audience (Domestic, Commercial, Housing Association, New Build) with the same underlying capabilities reachable from each path.
  • C·02Emergency call-out fixed as a persistent CTA across the site rather than buried inside the contact page.
  • C·03Credentials strip - Gas Safe, DBS, accreditations - placed inline with the hero rather than tucked into the footer.
  • C·04Google reviews block pulled live so the testimonial wall reflects current service quality, not a frozen 2019 snapshot.
  • C·05Service pages that read like real scopes of work (boilers, heating, plumbing, drainage, electrical, roofing, renewables) without the bullet-point inflation common in trade sites.
  • C·06WordPress build with editing patterns the office can manage day-to-day.

The outcome.

The new website now provides Kent Heating & Plumbing with a strong, focused online presence - a digital storefront ready to support growth, seasonal launches and limited-edition drops.

01.
A site that reads at the right tier the moment a domestic customer or a commercial buyer lands - the "60+ years, family-run, Gas Safe" line does its job in the first viewport.
02.
Audience splits reduced confusion at the form stage: enquiries arrive pre-segmented by service type, which makes scheduling faster.
03.
Live Google reviews removed the maintenance tax of updating testimonials - the social proof is current by default.
04.
A WordPress install the office team actually edits - new services, location pages, and crew updates ship without developer time.
